Deze intieme en expressieve Pietà, afkomstig uit de Zuid-Duitse regio Beieren (ca. 1750–1850), toont Maria die het lichaam van Christus ondersteunt. Het beeld is met de hand gesneden uit hout en draagt nog zijn originele polychromie, verrijkt met een donker glacis dat typisch is voor de regionale huisdevotie-traditie.
