South German Baroque Single-Door Armoire — Swabia (Baden-Württemberg), ca. 1730–1760
Description
A beautifully proportioned Baroque armoire from the Swabian region of Southern Germany, carved in solid oak with the characteristic vertical fluting and finely profiled door panel. The restrained yet noble ornamentation, including a central cartouche and stepped plinth base, is fully consistent with mid-18th-century rural noble craftsmanship from Baden-Württemberg.
